PATRIOTISM: THE MAC ATTACK

I just want to address this notion of patriotic fervor, that the Left denounces, yet keep returning to it out of fear.

Folks mention they do not want to think that their duty in the military was for not, when in fact, it was. Until Americans can learn the true history, and not the selective history, much will stay the same, get worse, and destroy this nation, this planet and this species.

Here is what true courage would look like today: Americans stand up and revolt. NOT with guns; with sacrifice and self-discipline.

• Stop driving, STAY HOME*


• * Form community co-ops to help feed the ones who depend on outside incomes


• Stop ALL Discretionary spending, not hard for some of us.


• Stop paying taxes to the government, put it into escrow accounts; there is a clause in the IRS that states you don't have to pay taxes if money is being used to wage war


• Pay only the balance on the phone bills, MINUS their fees and taxes, with a statement that you oppose this war.


• Stop turning on the TV, the radio. Unplug them. (That alone would shut down the corporate conveyor via the ratings system, although sweeps weeks only happen at scheduled times, but now with interactive TV, they know who and what ....

• Stop paying your credit card interest rates, pay only for what you purchased, on the balance sheet... the principle


• Stop paying the interest on your mortgages; pay only the principle...

NEVER in a million years, would Americans be able to show this type of strength and courage. It is much easier to pick up a gun and go blow the brains out of an innocent pregnant woman and then label her part of the axis of evil. .... Remain in the quagmire of the slow self-destruction via poverty and unfairness, and corporate fascism, here at home.

BUT, hey, we now have Mac Iraq!!!! Mac Vietnam, Mac Philippines, Mac Puerto Rico, Mac Germany, Mac Japan, and COMING SOON, Mac IRAN!!!! YIPPPEEEE!!! SUCH COURAGE. !!!!

Yep, Jefferson would be proud. Only he would be fit to be tied about his wife and daughter voting.

BUSH IS America. It is time to deal with that little reality. He didn't come from outer space. He came from Texas. (Although I have said many times, Texas should be a foreign country)
