I guess it doesn't take a nuclear physicist to figure out that just like Kosovo's Camp Bonsteel which the Nato allies constructed to protect the oil pipelines coming from the Balkans, our 14 KB&R built USA military bases in Iraq, will do the same thing: protect pipelines. After all, HWBush, in the first Gulf War, declared in his executive order that "we must protect the global economy".

Of course, the USA Right Wing now declares that we have a moral duty to protect oil and our soldiers die with honor to that end. ???? I guess the WMD-terrorist threat to the USA mantra lost some umph when not even a can of soup laden with botulism was found in Iraq.

Now, the question I have of course, is why we claim a war on Extremist Islamists. The USA has just successfully transposed Iraq from a secular nation, all be it religious groups were oppressed by a brutal dictator, to a nation now torn to pieces by the ascension of a PRO-IRANIAN HEZBOLLAH new leadership.

And, just like in 1991, the USA is going sit by and watch as the same horrid tortures, mutilations, killings take place, by faction's radicals, that will get our nod of approval.

Iraq, if I could make it better by saying, "I am sorry", I would do that.
But, it won't.
