I just have one question: Why did America not understand that on June 8, 1967, the USS Liberty, a US Naval vessel, sailing on the Mediterranean Sea, came under a brutal assault, by Israel?
This attack involved an unmarked Israeli aircraft, accompanied by 2 torpedo ships, bombed the USS Liberty from the air, and using naplm armed warheads. While the sailors attempted to extinguish the fires, they discovered the impossiblity they faced as their skin melted due to the nature of the napalm.
There efforts to save their fellows were futile, as the Israeli boats , soon after, raked the decks of the ship, mowing down all those who were standing against the blaze.
President Johnson was informed and he alerted the 6th fleet to do what America knows how to do.. attack.. somebody, assuming that the perpetrator of the assault was probably Egypt. However, when he was informed that in fact, Israel had been responsible for the assault, he pulled back the fleet, why by then was enroute to the Liberty's aid.
Of course, also, in style with the USA diplomatic and domestic public relations' policies, an investigation was engineered and conducted by none other that Admiral John S. McCain, commander in chief of the US Naval Forced in Europe, and Rear Admiral I.C Kidd. Their conclusions? " CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY" by the Israeli forces.

One explanation for why President Johnson would let
Israel attack us is that it helped assassinate his
predecessor, John F. Kennedy, and Johnson didn't
want to die too.
A politically incorrect book named "Final
Judgment" by Michael Collins Piper explains how
Israel seems to have been involved in JFK's
assassination with a thousand references.
1.) Israel was mad at JFK for taking their
campaign contributions and not letting them acquire
nuclear weapons.
2.) Israel wanted to preserve an alleged spy in
the CIA, James Jesus Angelton, which JFK planned
to splinter into "a thousand pieces".
3.) Israel wanted to protect its mobsters, like
Meyer Lansky, which JFK and his brother were
prosecuting.
Fear of assassination may also help explain why
U.S. politicians have given $100 billion to Israel
and why the U.S. is going after Israel's enemies:
Iraq, Iran and Syria.
